An interesting sight to behold during my morning commute happened to be the rising sun. As it sit upon the interstate, I had a pull toward it, like beckoning me to some great beyond. “Drive through my portal of radiance,” came an unspoken message. Perhaps this was a sign that “new horizons” are coming, literally and figuratively. Maybe I’m looking into it too much? (My mind does tend to go extreme and far beyond the norm. 🙂 )
Fortunately, traffic slowed a significant amount for me to capture this photo. Regardless of its meaning, or how my mind perceived this glowing orb, I was truly in awe at how the sun’s rays greeted me.

I caught the last bits of daylight with my eyes. It was one of the highlights of my day.
